Elementalist Skills - Factions Print E-mail

All skills are shown with minimum and maximum values. The minimum is with 0 points in the related attribute; the maximum is with 12 points in the related attribute.

It is possible to have more than 12 points in a given attribute, but values will need to be calculated on the 12-point figures given in the individual descriptions.

Air Magic

Points in this attribute increase effectiveness of Air Magic (lightning, wind); increases damage, in most cases.



Arc Lightning - 5 1 8
Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 5 - Max: 41) lightning damage. If that foe is suffering from a Water Magic Hex, onefoe near your target is struck for (Min: 15 - Max: 41) lightning damage. Damage from Arc Lightning has 25% armor penetration.



Gust (Elite) - 5 1 10
Elite Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 54) cold damage. If that foe is under an Earth or Water Magic Hex, that foe is knocked down for 3 seconds.



Lightning Hammer - 25 2 4
Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 82) lightning damage. Lightning Hammer has 25% armor penetration.



Ride the Lightning (Elite) - 10 1 20
Elite Spell. You ride the lightning to target foe. That foe is struck for (Min: 15 - Max: 63) lightning damage. This spell causes exhaustion.



Shock Arrow - 5 1 1
Spell. Send out a shocking arrow that flies swiftly toward target foe, striking for (Min: 5 - Max: 37) damage. Shock Arrow has 25% armor penetration.



Teinai's Wind - 10 ¾ 8
Spell. All adjacent foes take (Min: 15 - Max: 51) cold damage. Attacking foes struck by Teinai's Wind are knocked down.




Earth Magic

Points in this attribute increase effectiveness of Earth Magic (eruptions, stones); increases damage and/or duration in most cases.




Ash Blast - 5 1 8
Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 20 - Max: 48) damage. If Ash Blast strikes a knocked-down foe, that foe is blinded for (Min: 3 - Max: 13) seconds.



Churning Earth - 15 3 30
Spell. Create Churning Earth at target foe's location. For the next 5 seconds, Churning Earth strikes for (Min: 10 - Max: 34) earth damage each second. Any foe moving faster then normal when struck by Churning Earth is knocked down.



Dragon's Stomp - 25 3 15
Spell. You invoke a Dragon's Stomp at target foe's location. All foes near this location are knocked down and struck for (Min: 26 - Max: 85) damage. This spell causes Exhaustion.



Shockwave (Elite) - 10 ¾ 20   
Elite Spell. Adjacent foes take (Min: 15 - Max: 51) earth damage, nearby foes take (Min: 15 - Max: 51) earth damage, and foes in the area take (Min: 15 - Max: 51) earth damage.



Sliver Armor - 10 1 30
Enchantment Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 10) seconds, you have (Min: 25% - Max: 45%) chance to block attacks and whenever you are the target of a hostile Spell or attack one nearby foe is struck for (Min: 5 - Max: 29) earth damage.



Teinai's Crystals - 15 ¾ 20
Spell. Foes adjacent to you are struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 82) damage but are cured of any negative Conditions. This spell ignores armor and magic resistance.



Unsteady Ground (Elite) - 10 2 20
Elite Spell. You create Unsteady Ground at target foe's location. For 5 seconds, nearby foes take (Min: 10 - Max: 34) earth damage each second. Attacking foes struck by Unsteady Ground are knocked down.



Ward of Stability - 10 1 30
Ward Spell. Create a Ward of Stability at your current location. For (Min: 10 - Max: 22) seconds, non-spirit allies in the area cannot be knocked down.




Energy Storage

Primary Attribute (available to Primary Elementalists only). Points in this attribute increase maximum Energy and improve skills that help the Elementalist regenerate Energy.




Energy Boon (Elite) - 5 1 15
Elite Spell. You gain (Min: 10 - Max: 18) Energy. Energy Boon causes Exhaustion.




Fire Magic

Points in this attribute increase the duration and effectiveness of Fire Magic (fire, flame, lava); increases damage in most cases.




Bed of Coals - 10 1 30
Spell. Create a Bed of Coals at your location. For 10 seconds, foes standing still near this location are struck for (Min: 5 - Max: 24) damage each second. Any foe knocked down on the Bed of Coals is set on fire for (Min: 3 - Max: 6) seconds.



Breath of Fire - 5 2 30
Spell. Create Breath of Fire at target foe's current location. For 5 seconds, foes adjacent to that location are struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 34) fire damage each second.



Burning Speed - 10 ¼
Enchantment Spell. For 5 seconds, you are set on fire and move (Min: 30% - Max: 42%) faster. When Burning Speed ends, all adjacent foes are set on fire for (Min: 3 - Max: 8) seconds.



Double Dragon (Elite) - 15 ¾ 30
Elite Spell. For two seconds, foes adjacent to this location are struck for (Min: 7 - Max: 91) fire damage each second. This spell causes exhaustion.



Lava Arrows - 5 1 2
Spell. Lava Arrows fly toward up to 3 foes near your target and strike for (Min: 20 - Max: 56) if they hit. Lava Arrows have half the normal range.



Smoldering Embers - 10 2 7
Hex Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 7 - Max: 91) fire damage. After 3 seconds, if target foe is not moving that foe is set on fire for 3 seconds.



Star Burst (Elite) - 5 ¾ 10
Elite Spell. Target touched foe and all nearby foes are struck for (Min: 7 - Max: 91) fire damage. If more than one foe was struck you lost 5 energy.



Teinai's Heat - 15 2 30
Spell. Create Teinai's Heat at target foe's location. For 5 seconds, foes near that location are struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 34) fire damage each second. When Teinai's Heat ends, foes in the area of effect are set on fire for 3 seconds.




Water Magic

Points in this attribute increase the duration and effectiveness of Water Magic (ice, mist); increases damage in most cases.




Icy Prism - 10 1 2
Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 54) cold damage. If target foe is using a Signet, that Signet is interrupted and all of that foe's Signets are disabled for (Min: 3 - Max: 8) seconds.



Mirror of Ice (Elite) - 5 ¾ 10
Elite Enchantment Spell. For 60 seconds, the next time an enemy Spell would deal damage to you, that damage is negated and that spell's caster takes (Min: 10 - Max: 70) damage.



Shatterstone (Elite) - 15 2 8
Elite Hex Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 25 - Max: 85) cold damage and is Hexed with Shatterstone for 3 seconds. When Shatterstone ends, that foe is struck for (Min: 25 - Max: 85) cold damage.



Teinai's Prison - 10 2 30
Hex Spell. for (Min: 8 - Max: 18) seconds, target foe's legs are encased in ice causing the foe to move 66% slower. This effect ends if target takes fire damage.



Vapor Blade - 15 2 7
Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 15 - Max: 111) cold damage. Vapor Blade deals half damage if that foe has any Enchantments on them.




No Attribute

Some skills in each profession are not directly tied to a character's attributes. Unlike other skills that can be improved with the application of points into a specific attribute, these skills do not change, but are static in their properties.




Glyph of Essence - 5 1 30
Glyph. For 15 seconds, your next Spell casts instantly but causes you to lose all Energy.



Second Wind (Elite) - 5 2 5
Elite Spell. You gain 1 Energy for each point of Energy lost due to Exhaustion. This spell causes Exhaustion.
