Ritualist Skills - Factions Print E-mail

All skills are shown with minimum and maximum values. The minimum is with 0 points in the related attribute; the maximum is with 12 points in the related attribute.

It is possible to have more than 12 points in a given attribute, but values will need to be calculated on the 12-point figures given in the individual descriptions.

Please Note:  This is a Factions only character. You must own Guild Wars Factions in order to use this profession.

Channeling Magic

Build up the Ritualist's Channeling Magic attribute to increase the duration and effectiveness of skills that inflict spiritual harm on enemies.



Ancestor's Rage - 10 ¾ 8
Spell. All foes adjacent to target ally are struck for (Min: 30 - Max: 110) lightning damage.



Bloodsong - 5 3 30
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Spirit who dies after (Min: 30 - Max: 126) seconds. Attacks by that Spirit steal up to (Min: 5 - Max: 21) Health.



Channeled Strike - 10 2 4
Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 5 - Max: 77) lightning damage. That foe takes an additional (Min: 5 - Max: 29) lightning damage if you are holding an item.



Clamor of Souls (Elite) - 10 1 12
Elite Spell. For each nearby ally, one nearby foe is struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 94) lightning damage. (The same foe cannot be struck more than once.)



Cruel was Daoshen - 15 1 5
Item Spell. Hold Daoshen's ashes for up to (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds. When you drop his ashes, all nearby foes are struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 94) lightning damage.



Destruction - 5 3 15
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 8) Spirit that dies after 30 seconds. When this spirit dies, all nearby foes take (Min: 1 - Max: 4) damage for each second the spirit was alive.



Essence Strike - 5 1 8
Spell. target foe is struck for (Min: 15 - Max: 51) lightning damage. If any Spirits are within earshot, you gain (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Energy.



Gaze from Beyond - 5 2 10
Spell. The Spirit nearest you loses (Min: 10 - Max: 26) Health. Target foe is struck for 4 lightning damage for each point of Health lost.



Grasping Was Kuurong (Elite) - 15 1 20
Elite Item Spell. Hold Kuurong's ashes for up to (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds. When you drop his ashes, all nearby foes are struck for (Min: 15 - Max: 63) damage and knocked down.



Lamentation - 5 1 20
Spell. If target foe is within earshot of a corpse or Spirit, that foe takes (Min: 15 - Max: 63) damage.



Nightmare Weapon - 5 1 10
Weapon Spell. For 12 seconds, target ally has a Nightmare Weapon. Target ally's next 3 successful attacks are reduced by (Min: 10 - Max: 42) damage and steals up to (Min: 10 - Max: 42) Health.



Painful Bond - 15 1 12
Hex Spell. For (Min: 10 - Max: 18) seconds, target foe and all nearby foes are Hexed with Painful Bond and take (Min: 8 - Max: 18) damage whenever hit by a Spirit's attack.



Signet of Spirits (Elite) - 1 20
Elite Signet. You gain (Min: 3 - Max: 10) if you are within earshot of a Spirit.



Spirit Boon Strike - 10 2 20
Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 10 - Max: 82) lightning damage, and all Spirits near you gain (Min: 10 - Max: 82) Health.



Spirit Burn - 5 1 8
Spell. Target foe is struck for (Min: 15 - Max: 51) lightning damage. If any Spirits are within earshot, Spirit Burn deals +(Min: 15 - Max: 39) damage.



Spirit Rift - 10 1 5
Spell. Open a Spirit Rift at target foe's location. After 3 seconds, all adjacent foes are struck for (Min: 25 - Max: 113) lightning damage.



Spirit Siphon - 5 ¼ 3
Spell. Target Spirit loses all Energy. You gain (Min: 15% - Max: 27%) of that Energy.



Splinter Weapon - 5 1 5
Weapon Spell. For (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds, target ally has a Splinter Weapon. Target ally's next successful (Min: 1 - Max: 4) attack deals (Min: 5 - Max: 41) damage to all adjacent foes.



Wailing Weapon - 5 1 25
Weapon Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 10) seconds, target ally has a Wailing Weapon. Whenever the Wailing Weapon strikes an attacking foe, that foe is interrupted.




Communing

Increase the Communing attribute to boost the Ritualist's ability to summon and command otherwordly allies.



Anguished Was Lingwah - 15 3 30
Item Spell. Hold Lingwah's ashes for up to (Min: 30 - Max: 126) seconds. Dropping her ashes summons a level (Min : 1 - Max: 8) Spirit of Pain that does (Min: 5 - Max: 17) damage. This Spirit dies after (Min: 30 - Max: 126) seconds.



Armor of Unfeeling - 10 1 20
For (Min: 10 - Max: 30) seconds, you have 10 base damage reduction while casting Binding Rituals.



Binding Chains - 15 2 30
Hex Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 15) seconds, target foe moves 90% slower and cannot attack. Binding Chains ends if that foe takes damage.



Brutal Weapon - 10 1 15
Weapon Spell. Give target ally a Brutal Weapon for (Min: 15 - Max: 39) seconds. The bearer's weapon strikes for +(Min: 5 - Max: 13) damage as long as the bearer is under no Enchantments.



Defiant Was Xinrae (Elite) - 15 ¼ 25
Elite Item Spell. Hold Xinrae's ashes for up to (Min: 5 - Max: 10) seconds. While you hold her ashes, enemy Spells that the caster and the caster's allies use against you are disabled for an additional (Min: 5 - Max: 17) seconds.



Disenchantment - 25 5 45
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Spirit. This Spirit deals (Min: 5 - Max: 17) damage and anyone struck by its attack loses one Enchantment. This Spirit dies after (Min: 10 - Max: 30) seconds.



Displacement - 15 3 45
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 8) Spirit. All party members within its range have a 75% chance to block incoming attacks. Every time an attack is blocked in this way, this Spirit takes 60 damage. This Spirit dies after (Min: 30 - Max: 54) seconds.



Dissonance - 25 5 45
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Spirit. This Spirit deals (Min: 5 - Max: 17) damage and anyone struck by its attack is interrupted. This Spirit dies after (Min: 10 - Max: 22) seconds.



Dulled Weapon - 10 1 12
Hex Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 17) seconds, target foe and all nearby foes cannot achieve a critical hit.



Earthbind - 15 5 60
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 8) Spirit. All non-Spirit foes knocked down within its range are knocked down for at least 3 seconds. Whenever this happens, this Spirit loses (Min: 50 - Max: 30) Health. This Spirit dies after (Min: 15 - Max: 39) seconds.



Guided Weapon - 15 2 5
Weapon Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 10) seconds, target ally's attacks cannot be "blocked."



Mighty was Vorizun - 5 2 30
Item Spell. Hold Vorizun's ashes for up to (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds. While you hold his ashes, you gain +15 armor and +30 maximum Energy.



Pain - 5 3 30
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Spirit. This Spirit's attacks deal (Min: 5 - Max: 25) damage. This Spirit dies after (Min: 30 - Max: 126) seconds.



Restoration - 10 5 45
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 8) Spirit. When this Spirit Dies, all party members in the area are resurrected with (Min: 5% - 41%) Health and zero Energy. This Spirit dies after 30 seconds.



Shadowsong - 15 5 45
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 5) Spirit. The Spirit's attacks cause Blindness for (Min: 1 - Max: 5) second(s). This Spirit dies after 30 seconds.



Shelter - 25 5 45
Binding Ritual. create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Spirit. Non-spirit allies within its range cannot lose more then 10% maximum Health from a single attack. When this Spirit prevents damage, it loses (Min: 75 - Max: 51) Health. This Spirit lasts (Min: 30 - Max: 54) seconds.



Soothing - 25 5 60
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Spirit. All foes within its range take twice as long to build Adrenaline. This Spirit dies after (Min: 15 - Max: 39) seconds.



Union - 15 3 45
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Spirit. Whenever a non-Spirit ally in its range takes damage, that damage is reduced by 15 and the Spirit takes 15 damage. This Spirit dies after (Min: 30 - Max: 54) seconds.



Vital Weapon - 5 1 2
Weapon Spell. For (Min: 15 - Max: 39) seconds, target ally has a Vital Weapon and has +(Min: 40 - Max: 148) maximum Health.



Wanderlust (Elite) - 10 5 45
Elite Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 7) Spirit. Whenever this Spirit's attack hits a stationary foe, that foe is knocked down and the Spirit loses (Max: 70 - Min: 54) Health. This Spirit dies after (Min: 30 - Max: 54) seconds.



Weapon of Quickening (Elite) - 10 2 5
Elite Weapon Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 21) seconds, target ally has a Weapon of Quickening, and Spells and Binding Rituals recharge 33% faster.




Restoration Magic

Spend points in Restoration Magic to add to the duration and effectiveness of Ritualist skills that heal an ally's injuries.



Blind Was Mingson - 5 1 20
Item Spell. Hold Mingson's ashes for up to (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds. When you drop her ashes, all nearby foes are Blinded for (Min: 3 - Max: 7) seconds.



Flesh of My Flesh - 5 4
Spell. Lose half your Health. Resurrect target ally with your current Health and (Min: 5% - Max: 17%) Energy.



Generous Was Tsungrai - 5 1 15
Item Spell. Sacrifice 10% Health. Hold Tsurangai's ashes for up to (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds and gain +(Min: 50 - Max: 122) maximum Health. When you drop his ashes, you gain (Min: 100 - Max: 244) Health.



Life - 10 3 20
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 8) Spirit. When this Spirit dies, all non-Spirit allies within its range are healed for (Min: 1 - Max: 6) Health for each second this Spirit was alive. This spirit dies after 20 seconds.



Lively was Naomei - 15 6 20
Item Spell. Hold Naomei's ashes for up to 45 seconds. When you drop her ashes, all party members in the area are resurrected with (Min: 15% - Max: 63%) Health and zero Energy.



Mend Body and Soul - 5 ¾ 3
Spell. Target ally is healed for (Min: 20 - Max: 96) Health. That ally loses one condition for each allied Spirit within earshot.



Preservation (Elite) - 5 3 20
Elite Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - Max: 8) Spirit. Every 4 seconds, this Spirit heals one ally in the area for (Min: 10 - MaX: 94) Health. This Spirit dies after 90 seconds.



Protective was Kaolai - 10 1 20
Item Spell. Hold Kaolai's ashes for up to (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds. While you hold his ashes, you gain 24 armor. When you drop Kaolai's ashes, your party is healed for (Min: 10 - Max: 70).



Recuperation - 25 3 45
Binding Ritual. Create a level (Min: 1 - MaX: 8) Spirit. Non-Spirit allies within its range gain +(Min: 1 - Max: 3) Health Regeneration. This Spirit dies after (Min: 15 - Max: 39) seconds.



Resilient was Xiko - 5 1 10
Item Spell. Hold Xiko's ashes for up to (Min 5 - Max: 17) seconds. For each Hex or Condition you are suffering from while holding her ashes, you gain +3 Health regeneration. When you drop her ashes, you lose (Min: 1 - Max: 3) Conditions.



Resilient Weapon - 10 1 4
Weapon Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 17) seconds, target ally has a Resilient Weapon. While suffering grom a Hex or Condition, that ally gains a +(Min: 1 - Max: 5) Health regeneration and +24 armor.



Soothing Memories - 5 1 5
Spell. Target ally is healed for (Min: 10 - Max: 82) Health. If you are holding an item, you gain 3 Energy.



Spirit Light - 5 1 4
Spell. Sacrifice 17% Health. Target ally is healed for (Min: 60 - Max: 156). If any Spirits are within earshot, you don't sacrifice Health.



Spirit Light Weapon (Elite) - 5 1 5
Elite Weapon Spell. For 10 seconds, target ally gains (Min: 1 - Max: 12) Health per second and additional (Min: 1 - Max: 12) Health per second if that ally is within earshot of a spirit.



Spirit Transfer - 10 ¼ 5
Spell. The Spirit nearest to you loses (Min: 5 - Max: 41) Health. Target ally is healed for 5 for each point of Health lost.



Tranquil Was Tanasen (Elite) - 10 1 20
Elite Item Spell. Hold Tanasen's ashes for up to (Min: 5 - Max: 17) seconds. While you hold his ashes, you have +(Min: 10 - Max: 22) armor and cannot be interrupted.



Vengeful was Khanhei (Elite) - 5 ¾ 20
Elite Item Spell. Hold Khanhei's ashes for (Min: 5 - Max: 10) seconds. Whenever a foe strikes you in combat while you are holding Khanhei's ashes, you steal (Min: 5 - Max: 29) Health from that foe.



Vengeful Weapon - 5 ¼ 3
Weapon Spell. For 8 seconds, the next time target ally takes damage from a foe, that ally steals up to (Min: 15 - Max: 51) Health from that foe.



Weapon of Shadow - 10 1 20
Weapon Spell. For (Min: 4 - Max: 9) seconds, target ally has a Weapon of Shadow. Whenever that ally is struck by an attack, that ally's attacker becomes blinded for 5 seconds.



Weapon of Warding - 10 1 5
Weapon Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 10) seconds, target ally has a Weapon of Warding that grants target ally +(Min: 2 - Max: 4) Health regeneration and a 50% chance to "block".



Wielder's Boon - 5 ¼ 4
Spell. Heal target ally for (Min: 15 - Max: 51) points. If that ally is under the effects of a "Weapon Spell", Wielder's Boon heals for an additional (Min: 15 - Max: 63) Health.




Spawning

For each point of Spawning the Ritualist takes, summoned or animated creatures gain 4% more Health. Spawning also makes many Ritualist skills related to spirit creatures more effective. (Primary Attribute)



Attuned Was Songkai (Elite) - 10 2 60
Elite Item Spell. Hold Songkai's ashes for up to 45 seconds. While you hold her ashes, your spells cost -(Min: 5% - Max: 50%) of the base Energy to cast.



Boon of Creation - 10 2 2
Enchantment Spell. For (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds, whenever you create a creature, you gain (Min: 5 - Max: 41) Health and (Min: 1 - Max: 5) Energy.



Consume Soul (Elite) - 5 ¾ 4
Elite Spell. Target touched Spirit is destroyed. All Allies within the area are healed for (Min: 30 - Max: 198) Health.



Doom - 10 1 8
Spell. Strike target foe for (Min: 10 - Max: 34) lightning (maximum 135) damage for every recharging Binding Ritual you have.



Explosive Growth - 5 2 45
Enchantment Spell. For (Min: 15 - Max: 51) seconds, whenever you create a creature, up to 5 foes near that creature are struck for 20 - 56 lightning damage.



Feast of Souls - 10 ¼ 10
Spell. Destroy all nearby allies' Spirits. For each Spirit destroyed in this way, all party members are healed for (Min: 50 - Max: 90) Health.



Ghostly Haste - 10 1 20
Enchantment Spell. For (Min: 5 - Max: 17) seconds, spells you cast while within earshot of a Spirit recharge 25% faster.



Ritual Lord (Elite) - 10 30
Elite Skill. For 30 seconds, your Rituals recharge (Min: 15% - Max: 51%) faster.



Rupture Soul - 10 ¾ 5
Spell. Target allied Spirit is destroyed. All nearby enemies are struck for (Min: 50 - Max: 122) lightning damage and become blinded for (Min: 3 - Max: 10) seconds.



Signet of Creation - 2 10
Signet. All Spirits and animated creatures in the area gain a +(Min: 1 - Max: 6) Health regeneration. After 30 seconds, those spirits and creatures are destroyed.



Spirit Channeling (Elite) - 5 1 30
Elite Enchantment Spell. For 10 seconds, you gain +(Min: 1 - Max: 5) Energy regeneration but suffer -5 Health degeneration. When Spirit Channeling ends, you gain 100 Health if you are within earshot of a spirit.



Spirit to Flesh - 10 ¾ 15
Spell. Target touched allied Spirit is destroyed. All nearby allies are healed for (Min: 30 - Max: 198).




No Attribute

Some skills in each profession are not directly tied to a character's attributes. Unlike other skills that can be improved with the application of points into a specific attribute, these skills do not change, but are static in their properties.



Draw Spirit - 5 ¼ 5
Teleport target allied Spirit to your location.



Soul Twisting (Elite) - 5 15
Elite Skill. Destroy target allied Spirit. The next Binding Ritual you perform casts 66% faster and recharges instantly.
